What to expect

what

Let's talk all things newborn posing!

This private virtual workshop is designed to take you behind the scenes of my newborn photography workflow! We'll cover potato posing in props, head-on-hands posing in a bucket, and table posing techniques. From wrapping and positioning to lighting and safety, I'll walk you through the techniques I use to create beautiful newborn portraits.

how

Watch. Learn. Grow.

Through a live, one-on-one Zoom class, I'll demonstrate each technique using a newborn posing doll. You'll get to see my process up close as I walk through wrapping, posing, transitions, and lighting. I'll explain not only HOW I achieve each pose, but WHY I do things a certain way. Questions are always encouraged along the way!

when

Two hours. Tons of knowledge.

This is a two-hour private virtual workshop scheduled at a mutually convenient time. We'll follow a structured lesson plan covering each newborn setup, allowing you to observe my techniques, take notes, and ask questions throughout our time together. All from the comfort of your own home!

why

Confidence starts with understanding.

Newborn photography is about so much more than creating a pretty pose. It's about understanding positioning, lighting, transitions, and most importantly, newborn safety. My goal is to help you understand the techniques behind each setup so you can approach your own newborn sessions with greater knowledge, confidence, and intention.

FAQ

What will I learn during this workshop?

We'll focus on my newborn posing workflow, including potato posing in props, head-on-hands posing in a bucket, and table posing. I'll walk you through wrapping techniques, positioning, transitions, lighting, and important newborn safety considerations.

How does the virtual workshop work?

We'll connect through Zoom for a private, two-hour class! I'll use a newborn posing doll to demonstrate each technique step by step, explaining what I'm doing and WHY. You'll be able to watch my process up close and ask questions throughout the workshop.

Is this workshop customizable?

This workshop follows a specific curriculum designed to cover my newborn posing techniques and workflow. While questions are always welcome, we'll follow the planned lesson to ensure we cover the material. If you're looking for personalized guidance on other topics, my monthly coaching program may be a better fit!

Will we be working with a real newborn?

Nope! I'll be using a newborn posing doll throughout our virtual workshop. This allows me to demonstrate wrapping, positioning, and transitions while explaining each step without interrupting a live newborn session.

Do I need any special equipment?

You'll need a reliable internet connection and a device that supports Zoom. I recommend having something handy for taking notes! You're welcome to follow along with your own posing doll and equipment if you have them, but it's not required.

Is this workshop beginner-friendly?

This workshop is best suited for photographers who already have a basic understanding of their camera and photography fundamentals. We'll be focusing specifically on newborn posing techniques rather than beginner camera education.

Can I ask questions during the workshop?

ABSOLUTELY! I encourage questions throughout our time together. If something doesn't make sense or you'd like me to explain a technique further, please ask! My goal is for you to understand the process, not just watch me demonstrate it.
